Fitness Apparel for Gym and Fitness Brands
Ninghow Yoga is the specialized yoga and activewear division of Ninghow Apparel. As a custom activewear manufacturer, we develop and produce performance apparel for gym and fitness brands building coordinated, branded collections. Our support covers fabric and trim sourcing, pattern and sample development, branding, bulk production, quality review, packaging and international shipment coordination.
Our verified product scope includes leggings, performance pants, fitted and biker shorts, sports bras, tops, jackets, seamless styles and coordinated sets. We support OEM, ODM and private label projects for established brands, developing labels and new fitness businesses. Buyers can review other use-based sourcing routes through our apparel applications or submit a project brief to request a quotation .
Sample Approval
A gym apparel range often needs products that work together rather than one garment developed in isolation.
Fabric Choice
State the intended activity and expected movement.
Quality Control
Ninghow Yoga applies quality control across requirement review, material checking, production and finished-order inspection.
Project Planning
MOQ is flexible and confirmed according to the product, fabric, colour, quantity and customization requirements.
Define Fabric and Material Requirements by Intended Activity
Fabric selection starts with the garment and its intended gym or fitness use. Buyers should define required stretch, moisture-management direction, feel, coverage, weight, colour and any other project-specific performance needs. These requirements guide sourcing and sample review, but they do not replace testing criteria supplied by the buyer when testing is required.
We support fabric and trim sourcing as part of product development. Material suitability is reviewed in relation to the selected garment, construction, colour and decoration method. A fabric that is being considered for fitted shorts, for example, may need a different review from material for a jacket or loose performance top.
Projects that need a deeper material review can follow our activewear fabric and trim sourcing service path.
Align Patterns, Sizes and Movement Fit Before Production
Fitness apparel fit is shaped by the design, measurements, pattern, fabric behaviour and intended movement. A clear technical brief allows these elements to be reviewed together during development. Buyers may provide tech packs, measurement charts, reference samples, graded size information or fit comments, depending on the stage of the project.
Our team supports pattern and sample coordination, size and fit communication and pre-production approval. Sample feedback should identify specific changes, such as a measurement adjustment, a revised length or an update to the fit of a particular area. Clear comments help connect the design intent to the next sample or production decision.
When a collection includes several garment types, size requirements should be defined for each style rather than assumed across the range. Detailed measurement, pattern and fit support is covered through our activewear pattern, size and fit development service.
Apply Brand Identity Across the Fitness Range
Brand presentation can extend across garment colours, decoration, labels, hangtags and packaging. Ninghow Yoga supports embroidery, screen printing, sublimation and heat-transfer applications according to the product, fabric and design requirements. The appropriate method is reviewed against the artwork, placement, garment construction and selected material.
For private label fitness apparel, buyers should identify which brand elements must remain consistent across the full collection and which details vary by product. A logo may use one application on a jacket and another on a fitted top because the materials and construction differ. Labels, hangtags and packaging also need to match the product range, destination and presentation requirements.
Useful branding inputs include artwork files, colour references, placement dimensions, label content, hangtag details and packaging direction. Our branding and packaging service covers the detailed review of these elements.
Move from Sample Review to a Production-Ready Order
Sample development begins after the design, fabric direction and technical details are confirmed. It typically takes5–7 days at that point. Complex styles or projects involving special fabrics may require7–10 days. Actual timing is reviewed against the requirements of the individual style.
A sample is a decision point, not only a visual reference. Buyers should assess dimensions, fit, construction, material, colour, trim, decoration and brand placement against the agreed brief. Comments should be consolidated so that each requested change can be reviewed before the project moves forward.
Our apparel sample development service provides the focused route for buyers who are ready to submit designs or technical information.
- Confirm the design, fabric direction and technical information.
- Develop and review the sample against the project brief.
- Record fit, measurement, construction and branding feedback.
- Confirm materials and the final production requirements.
- Approve the pre-production sample before bulk production begins.
Build a Fitness Collection Across Multiple Garment Categories
A gym apparel range often needs products that work together rather than one garment developed in isolation. Ninghow Yoga can coordinate several categories within the same project, subject to the design, material, colour, quantity and customization requirements of each style.
The collection brief should identify the role of each garment. A training top may require different material, fit and decoration decisions from a warm-up layer or fitted bottom. Product-specific construction choices can be reviewed through the relevant category pages, while our performance activewear overview provides a broader product-level route.
Set Quality Checkpoints for Performance Apparel
Ninghow Yoga applies quality control across requirement review, material checking, production and finished-order inspection. The process can include product requirement review, fabric and colour checking, measurement and sewing inspection, process quality control, final inspection and packaging review.
These checkpoints connect the approved requirements to the garments being produced. Measurement checks assess the product against the defined specifications. Sewing inspection reviews garment construction, while final inspection and packaging review address the completed order before shipment preparation.
AQL inspection and customer-appointed or third-party inspection can be supported when required. We can also coordinate with third-party inspection or testing providers such as SGS or Intertek according to project requirements. The buyer should define the requested inspection route, criteria and timing during project planning. More detail is available through our finishing and inspection capability and quality control process.

Prepare Your Fitness Apparel Project Brief
A complete brief allows us to assess development needs, production terms and the appropriate next step. Include the products you want to develop, their intended fitness use and the relationship between styles in the collection.
We review these inputs to confirm material and sample requirements, applicable MOQ, production timing and quotation details. Pricing and order conditions are project-specific because garment construction, materials, quantities and customization can vary across a fitness collection.
